EMOTIA Escape Beginner Guide

EMOTIA Escape is a cooperative Roblox escape and survival experience set inside the Emotion Prison. Players select a character, explore multiple floors, complete objectives and puzzles, survive enemy chases, and work toward the next checkpoint or exit.

1

Choose a Character

Select an available playable character before entering the Emotion Prison.

  • The known playable roster includes Glee, PP, Nvee, and Lila.
  • Review the available character information before confirming your choice.
  • In team games, avoid selecting characters without discussing how the group will divide responsibilities.
2

Choose Solo or Team Play

Enter alone or form a cooperative group containing up to five players.

  • Solo players must handle exploration, puzzles, survival, and route planning without assistance.
  • Teams can divide exploration, puzzle-solving, support, and survival responsibilities.
  • Stay close enough to communicate without placing every player in the same dangerous position.
3

Explore the Current Floor

Search the environment for mission objectives, interactable objects, clues, and safe routes.

  • Check rooms and paths carefully instead of moving through the floor without a plan.
  • Remember important doors, corners, hiding areas, and routes that may be needed during a chase.
  • Tell teammates when you find an objective, clue, interactable object, or dangerous area.
4

Complete Objectives and Puzzles

Use environmental clues and interactable objects to complete the floor's required tasks.

  • Read or inspect clues before interacting with puzzle components.
  • Assign one player to solve the puzzle while other players watch nearby paths.
  • Confirm that every required objective is complete before searching for the exit.
5

Survive Chase Sections

Use the routes discovered during exploration to escape enemy pursuit.

  • Avoid running into unexplored areas during a chase.
  • Do not block narrow paths or doorways when teammates are following behind.
  • Separate only when doing so creates safer escape routes for the group.
  • Regroup after the immediate danger has ended.
6

Reach the Checkpoint or Exit

Finish the floor, regroup with surviving teammates, and prepare for the next section.

  • Check that the objective has registered before leaving the area.
  • Wait for teammates when the route is safe and the game allows the group to regroup.
  • Use what you learned about puzzles and chase patterns on later floors.

Quick Tips

  • Always identify an escape route before starting a long interaction.
  • Communicate objective locations, clues, and enemy movements in short calls.
  • Keep one player watching entrances while another handles the puzzle.
  • Memorize a return route to a larger room or checkpoint before pushing deeper.

EMOTIA Escape Character Tier List

Character value changes depending on whether a player is attempting a solo escape, joining a coordinated team, or progressing through difficult floors. The roster below contains the named playable characters included in the available game information.

Evaluation Criteria

Characters are evaluated using four core categories.

Survivability

How consistently the character can remain alive during exploration, mistakes, and chase sections.

Team Utility

How effectively the character contributes to cooperative objectives and supports other players.

Mobility

How effectively the character can reposition, explore routes, and react during enemy chases.

Beginner Friendliness

How easy the character is to understand and use without advanced game knowledge.

Unranked Roster

Character-specific abilities, statistics, and documented performance results are tracked as the game releases them, so each character is listed with its confirmed status rather than a forced ranking.

Glee

PP

Nvee

Lila

Solo Run Priorities

Prioritize characters that can explore safely, survive chase sections, and complete objectives without depending on teammate support.

Coordinated Team Priorities

Prioritize a balanced combination of exploration, puzzle, support, mobility, and survival value rather than selecting several characters for the same responsibility.

Difficult Floor Priorities

Prioritize consistent survivability, route control, team support, and abilities that remain useful during dangerous objectives and extended chase sections.

EMOTIA Escape Floors Walkthrough

Each EMOTIA Escape run takes players through multiple areas of the Emotion Prison. Use the walkthrough structure below to identify objectives, inspect clues, prepare safe routes, complete puzzles, survive chase sections, and advance with the rest of the team.

Objective: Understand the area before committing the team to an objective.

  • Confirm which players are responsible for exploration, puzzle-solving, support, and survival.
  • Identify the starting position and any nearby branching routes.
  • Keep the group together until the first safe paths and important locations are identified.
Common Failure Points
  • Splitting up immediately without assigning responsibilities.
  • Moving too far from teammates before learning the floor layout.
  • Ignoring paths that may later become escape routes.

EMOTIA Escape Best Team Guide

A successful EMOTIA Escape team should avoid having every player search the same room or interact with the same objective. Assign clear roles before entering a floor, stay close enough to help during chases, and announce every clue, item, opened route, and enemy movement.

Two-Player Balanced Team

2 players
GleePP
Explorer: Search nearby rooms, locate environmental clues, and identify the safest route between objectives.
Objective and Safety Support: Handle interactable objects, remember clue information, and watch corridors while the explorer searches.

Strategy: Stay within one room or corridor of each other. One player should interact while the other watches for danger and keeps the escape route clear.

Tip: Use short calls such as clue found, objective ready, enemy nearby, and return to exit.

Three-Player Objective Team

3 players
GleeNveeLila
Lead Explorer: Check new rooms and mark important routes, clues, and mission objects.
Puzzle Player: Complete interaction sequences and keep track of symbols, patterns, and objective progress.
Support and Lookout: Watch entrances, guide separated players back, and warn the team when a chase begins.

Strategy: Use a two-one formation: two players work on the objective while the lookout controls the nearby route. Regroup before moving to another section.

Tip: The explorer reports locations, the puzzle player repeats the solution, and the lookout decides when the group must move.

Five-Player Full Team

5 players
GleePPNveeLilaPookie Luke Jr.
Route Leader: Choose the next room, remember opened paths, and lead retreats during enemy chases.
Clue Searcher: Inspect environmental details and report symbols, objects, and mission information.
Objective Operator: Interact with mission objects and complete the main puzzle sequence.
Rear Lookout: Watch previously cleared corridors and warn the team about approaching threats.
Flexible Support: Help whichever role is delayed, guide lost players, and confirm that the full team reaches the next area.

Strategy: Do not split into five separate routes. Use a three-player objective group and a two-player search-and-lookout group, then regroup after every major objective.

Tip: Only the route leader should call major movement changes so the team does not scatter during a chase.

Safe Team Communication Rules

All team sizes
Any available characters
Location Calls: Name the room, corridor, floor section, or nearby landmark before describing a clue.
Objective Calls: Confirm when an item is collected, an interaction is complete, or a route has opened.
Chase Calls: State the enemy direction and the planned escape route without giving several conflicting instructions.

Strategy: Keep messages short and repeat important information once. Stop optional searching when the main objective or exit route is ready.

Tip: Use the same role assignments throughout the run unless a player is eliminated or separated.

EMOTIA Escape Puzzles and Missions

EMOTIA Escape floors combine exploration, interactable mission objects, environmental clues, route unlocking, and survival sequences. The safest method is to understand the objective first, divide the search area, complete interactions in a controlled order, and prepare an escape route before triggering dangerous progress.

1

Read the Floor Objective

Mission identification
  • Check the current objective before searching the floor.
  • Identify whether the team needs clues, interactable objects, collectible mission items, or an unlocked route.
  • Repeat the objective to the full team so players do not search for different things.
Failure Points
  • Leaving the starting area without understanding the objective.
  • Mistaking decorative objects for mission objects.
  • Splitting the team before assigning search areas.
Chase Safety

Identify at least one open corridor or return route before beginning a long interaction.

2

Search for Environmental Clues

Symbols, patterns, room details, and visual clues
  • Inspect walls, furniture, nearby objects, and unusual room details.
  • Report each clue with its location instead of only saying what was found.
  • Keep one player near the objective area while the others search nearby rooms.
Failure Points
  • Forgetting where a clue was located.
  • Reading similar symbols in the wrong order.
  • Continuing to search after the required clue has already been found.
Chase Safety

Search connected rooms first and avoid entering distant dead ends alone.

3

Collect and Deliver Mission Objects

Item retrieval and object placement
  • Confirm which objects are connected to the current mission.
  • Assign one player to carry or return each required object while another protects the route.
  • Deliver objects one at a time when the destination area is dangerous.
Failure Points
  • Taking an object without telling the team.
  • Carrying mission items into an unnecessary chase route.
  • Leaving required objects in unrelated rooms.
Chase Safety

The object carrier should follow the route leader and avoid being the first player to enter an unexplored room.

4

Complete Interaction Sequences

Switches, ordered interactions, and multi-part objectives
  • Have one player control the interaction while another reads or repeats the clue.
  • Complete the sequence slowly enough to avoid entering the wrong order.
  • Confirm each successful stage before moving to the next object.
Failure Points
  • Several players interacting at the same time.
  • Changing the sequence after a correct input.
  • Leaving the objective before its completion is confirmed.
Chase Safety

Place a lookout at the nearest entrance and stop interacting immediately when the lookout calls danger.

5

Prepare for Route Changes

Door unlocking and floor progression
  • Check which door, corridor, or floor section opened after completing the objective.
  • Regroup before entering the newly available area.
  • Keep track of the route back to the previous safe section.
Failure Points
  • Running through a newly opened route alone.
  • Assuming the closest door is the correct progression route.
  • Leaving a teammate behind near the completed objective.
Chase Safety

Let the route leader enter first while the rear lookout confirms that every player has moved.

6

Finish Objectives During a Chase

Timed survival and enemy-pressure objectives
  • Stop unnecessary searching and focus only on the remaining mission action.
  • Use one player to draw attention away from the interaction area when the route allows it.
  • Complete the objective, announce success, and move toward the agreed exit route.
Failure Points
  • Every player running in a different direction.
  • Leading the enemy directly toward the objective operator.
  • Returning to optional rooms after the main route is ready.
Chase Safety

Move as a group through known corridors, avoid dead ends, and do not reverse direction without warning the team.

EMOTIA Escape Upgrades and Customization

EMOTIA Escape progression includes character development, unlock requirements, shop purchases, and customization choices. Beginners should first strengthen the parts of their account that help with repeated floor runs, then save remaining resources for advanced upgrades and cosmetic options.

Character Unlocks

High

Expands the available roster beyond the starting options and gives the team more lineup choices.

Unlock: Meet the character's listed progression or purchase requirement.

Unlock characters that help complete a full team roster before collecting optional cosmetics.

Core Character Upgrades

Highest

Improves a selected character's usefulness during exploration, objectives, or survival-focused runs.

Unlock: Spend progression resources through the character upgrade interface.

Upgrade one frequently used character first instead of spreading resources evenly across the full roster.

Survival Improvements

High

Makes mistakes during dangerous floor sections and enemy chases easier to recover from.

Unlock: Purchase the available survival-focused progression options for the selected character.

Prioritize consistent survival before investing in upgrades intended for experienced or highly coordinated teams.

Objective and Exploration Improvements

High

Supports faster room searches, safer objective completion, and more consistent floor progression.

Unlock: Use earned resources on upgrades connected to normal run performance.

Choose improvements that remain useful across different floors rather than upgrades suited to one narrow situation.

Advanced Character Upgrades

Medium

Refines a developed character for harder floors, optimized teams, and repeated high-risk runs.

Unlock: Complete earlier progression requirements and spend additional resources.

Buy these after the main character has solid core and survival upgrades.

Shop Customization

Low

Changes the appearance or presentation of owned characters without replacing basic progression needs.

Unlock: Purchase available customization options from the in-game shop.

Save cosmetic purchases until the account can consistently complete objectives and survive chases.

Optional Cosmetics

Lowest

Provides additional visual collection goals for players who have already built their main roster.

Unlock: Obtain the cosmetic through its listed shop, progression, or event requirement.

Treat cosmetics as a secondary goal and keep enough resources available for future characters or upgrades.

EMOTIA Escape Updates and Events
